One of my favorite cafes in town! This Portuguese themed cafe not only has delicious brews, there is also a variety of great sandwiches, tartines and pastries that make you feel you are on an European vacation. Great outdoor patio to work on the computer, write and connect with others. Communal feel seating so it's easy to meet new people.

Several locations in town but the North Park location is my favorite. Feels like you are inside someone's home with comfy chairs and wooden tables to read a book or get some focus time. Delicious specialty drinks and snacks to keep you satisfied.

Cafe Calabria

North Park

A charming Italian coffee shop in the heart of North Park inside the old Bank of America building. Vintage feel and atmosphere filled with aromas from brick oven pizza and fresh roasted coffee. Great spot to people watch or get some work done at the tables insdie. Also, they roast their own coffee, check out the giant machine inside!

Blue Palm

Delicious craft coffees and matcha right on the beach! They also have great breakfast items to choose from. Viby decor and comfortable setting, great spot to relax and read a book or catch up on some work in between beach sessions.

Asa Bakery

Downtown

This Japanese bakery is a must stop! Excellent options for your java and matcha and delicious pastries too. Great spot for people watching on a stroll through downtown. Try the curry pan before you go and ask about the speakeasy!

Little Italy

One of my favorite urban spots for my coffee fix, set in the heart of Little Italy and featuring an excellent menu. This location is great for getting some focus time in while having a great view of the street for people watching, a perfect balance. Also great for grabbing your coffee to go and walking around the neighborhood.

A favorite neighborhood cafe with cozy floral decor. Great for breakfast selection and your favorite coffee choices. More of a social spot, so a great place to get the feel of North PB and people watch. One of my favorite neighborhoods in SD great for grabbing a beverage to go and walking around.

Hidden gem alert! This hidden gem has one of the best and innovative coffee and pastry menus in town! Don't let the location fool you, Baci has a pistachio late and croissant combo that people drive in from miles around. Also great spot to get some focus time in, quiet and decorative environment.

North Park

Posh, clean, sleek, viby and social coffee shop in the heart of North Park. Great spot to meet locals, socialize and pretend that you're working. Great for the casual read, answer emails and light work; but great for people watching and getting a feel for the neighborhood.

Hidden gem alert! Love plants and coffee? Well this is a must stop for you. Imagine walking through the most curated plant store you've ever seen with a delicious java...This is what Selva delivers! Great spot to walk around the take in the greenery, not a place for focus work so keep that in mind. Sip and stroll, and get ready to take home your next plant baby. They have a huge selection!
